Our Health and Multiple Choice Questions
Have you ever taken a test in school that was "multiple choice"?
If you were like most of us, you preferred multiple choice tests because-well-because
we knew they were easier than essays for one thing. Also, we knew if we had
any kind of working knowledge about the test topics, we could eliminate some
answers and narrow it down to one obvious answer. Usually. There was always
that one teacher who gave us a choice of one obviously wrong answer and two
or three that we couldn't figure out... We had to have the "best
choice" right answer; the next to the best wasn't good enough, but, unfortunately,
it wasn't as obvious as we hoped. We couldn't fake our way through.
Sometimes, with our health in question, we feel like we're taking a multiple
choice test without having studied. There are so many answers out there and
we often don't have the knowledge required to make the best choice.
So, how do we choose? One way to go is to pick the option that is the safest.
For example, which is safer to kill a fly? A fly swatter or a shot gun? Both
do the job, but one solution is very intrusive and has a rather unhappy side
effect. It's the same way with health care choices. Some choices for treatment
of illness might attack the health problem, but come with unwanted side effects.
Our suggestion is to choose answer "C" as your best answer..."C"
as in Chiropractic. Chiropractic is an extremely safe and effective way to take care of a lot of
health care problems. Some of the health care problems that respond well to
chiropractic are musculoskeletal problems creating symptoms like headaches,
shoulder, neck, and back pain. Some other conditions that research indicates
are helped by chiropractic care are menstrual pain, cholic in infants, and sciatica.
There is even preliminary evidence that chiropractic care improves your immune
system, keeping you healthier in the first place.
Chiropractic removes some of the major interferences to good health. Chiropractic
is an informed "best choice" in your multiple choice test of best
health care.
