Chiropractic. Serving the World's Best Athletes

(It's not just for cricks, backaches, and strains, anymore.)

Remember the commercial, "Orange Juice. It's not just for breakfast anymore"? We'd like to add, "Chiropractic. It's not just for cricks, backaches, and strains, anymore." Increasing numbers of world class athletes, NFL players, professional baseball heroes, and, even, high school teams, are looking for that competitive edge and turning to chiropractic care to get it. The following are just two of the recent pieces of sports news reflecting this wave of wellness through chiropractic care:

The American Chiropractic Association sponsored Olympic Speed Skater Derek Parra during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Parra broke the world record in winning the gold medal in the 1500 meter race. Earlier in the week, he had taken the silver medal in the 5000 meter race.

In late July, 2000, chiropractic patient and runner Joetta qualified for her FOURTH Olympics at AGE 37. Her preparation for her qualifying race included getting a chiropractic adjustment just before the race. She has been under chiropractic care for correction and to maximize her inborn athletic ability for some time. Both her younger sister and sister-in-law also qualified for Sydney. Some family!)

Check out Nike.com for the whole story on bicyclist, Lance Armstrong, and his team chiropractor. Two-time Tour de France winner and cancer survivor, Lance Armstrong, credits his chiropractor with helping him win. Not only does he consider the chiropractic adjustment to his spine as correction, but "proactive and preventive".
